How To Download from Google Drive

Import Music from Google Drive

Offline Player allows you to seamlessly connect to your Google Drive account and import music files directly into your library. This feature makes it easy to access your music collection stored in the cloud. After importing, use Smart Playlists to automatically organize your imported music, enhance audio quality with Volume Boost, or explore trending songs from our Top Hits Charts and Portuguese Top Hits.

Supported Formats: MP3, M4A, FLAC, WAV, and other common audio formats.

Open Import Menu

Launch Offline Player and tap the "+" button or navigate to Settings → Import Music. You'll see various import options including Google Drive.

Tip: You can also access the import menu from the main library screen by tapping the menu icon.

Connect Google Drive

Select "Google Drive" from the import options. You'll be prompted to sign in to your Google account. Tap "Sign in with Google" and authorize Offline Player to access your Drive files.

  • Make sure you're signed in to the correct Google account
  • Grant necessary permissions for file access
  • Your credentials are securely stored and encrypted

Browse and Select Files

Once connected, you'll see your Google Drive file structure. Navigate through folders to find your music files. You can:

Tap and hold to select multiple files at once for batch import

Import to Library

After selecting your music files, tap "Import" or "Add to Library". The files will begin downloading to your device and will be automatically added to your Offline Player library.

  • Monitor the import progress in the notification area
  • Large files may take some time to download
  • You can continue using the app while files are importing

Access Your Music

Once the import is complete, your music will appear in your library. You can find it in:

All Songs - Browse all imported tracks

Albums - Organized by album metadata

Artists - Grouped by artist name

  • Organize First: Organize your music files in Google Drive folders before importing for easier navigation.
  • Batch Import: Import entire folders at once to save time when adding large music collections.
  • Storage Management: Monitor your device storage as imported files are downloaded locally.
  • Re-import Updates: If you add new files to Google Drive, you can re-import to sync your library.
